Text of the Agreement reached on June 13th, 2000 by the Round Table on Human Rights, which included representatives from human rights organizations and the armed forces. The text, which sets out a procedure to make the utmost efforts to locate the whereabouts of the detained-disappeared, states that there are events on which, "... there can be no legitimate attitude other than rejection and condemnation, backed by a determination to make sure they can never happen again. We refer to the serious human rights violations committed by agents of the State during the military government; and we also refer to the political violence committed by some opponents of the military government...".
